What does a balanced lifestyle look like for you?
If you’re anything like me, you’ve gone through stages of life where you know you need to, “find a balance,” whether it’s your social life, work & studies or living a healthy lifestyle while keeping up with 100 other things… Seems impossible right? If life could be an even balance surely we would have it perfected by now?
Remember that ‘balance’ looks different for everyone, trying to maintain the same lifestyle as someone else is impossible.
To do lists:
The one thing that I find helps structure each day is writing a ‘to do list’ the night before. In the morning it only takes a few minutes to read it over and try, one by one, to tick things off. Somedays you might get it all done and others might be completely unproductive.. that’s okay. You’re human!
Often we put so much pressure on ourselves by expecting far too many things to get done in one day, it’s just not always possible! Each day is completely unique and so is your mood.
Finding a good balance can mean making sure within one week there are a few things to tick off.
For example:
- Workout 4 times
- See a friend for coffee/ meal to unwind
- Prep food for the following day
As simple as that.
Give it a try and don’t put too much pressure on yourself on days that don’t go as planned.
